Din Natur

Din Natur is a free service that helps landowners, advisors, and other interested parties monitor changes in registrations of protected nature, especially §3 protected areas and habitat nature. Users can subscribe to specific areas and be notified by e-mail if there are changes in the indicative registration of protected habitat types.

What is Din Natur? 

Din Natur is a digital tool that gives users access to updates on protected natural areas in Denmark. Users can draw their own areas on a map and sign up for a subscription to receive notifications when there are changes in the registration of protected §3 natural areas, such as fresh meadows, heaths, and bogs. The map in Din Natur shows not only protected habitat types, but also habitat areas, streams and land registers. 

The system is integrated with the national environmental data and makes it possible to monitor both past and current registrations. Users can also adjust the transparency of historical map layers to compare how an area has evolved over time.

Din Natur is run by Danmarks Miljøportal for the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Miljøstyrelsen).
