A system for retrieving, managing, and documenting standardized environmental parameters used in Danish environmental monitoring.
Parameterlisten is a central system that exhibits and describes official codes (Stancode) for physical, chemical, virological, and microbiological parameters. The system is used by authorities, researchers and other professionals who work with reporting environmental data. It is a further development of the existing Stancodeliste 1008 and provides a comprehensive overview of the environmental parameters used in environmental monitoring and research in Denmark.
Parameterlisten contains codes for chemical substances and other environmental parameters that are necessary for environmental studies and monitoring. Each parameter is supplemented with metadata such as INCHI, CAS numbers, SMILES structures, and English names, making the system comprehensive and accurate. The parameters are organised into substance groups and linked to different sets of rules and limit values for analysis quality and environmental standards. This detailed description makes it easier for researchers and authorities to manage complex data sets and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
The system also offers an API access that makes it possible to integrate Parameterlisten into other systems for easier data management and analysis.
For authorities and environmental institutions
Parameterlisten makes it easy to find, filter and use the relevant environmental parameters in reports and analyses. Governments can use the system to ensure that the environmental data they collect and report is in line with the correct standards.
For researchers and consultants
Researchers and environmental consultants can use Parameterlisten to ensure that their analyses use the right parameters and codes that are internationally recognised and standardised. This supports comparable and consistent results across projects.
